9 month check-up update........................
The nine month check up was yesterday, Ethan is 19 lbs and 29 inches long, Evan is also 19 lbs and 28 inches long, and Olivia is 15 lbs and 26 inches long. Dr. Freshwater was happy with their progress and told us to continue doing what we are doing. He did say that we need to make sure we work with them on speech, because multiples tend to have their own language between themselves and no one knows it but them. Otherwise we don't go back for 3 months.
Ethan is crawling and standing up like crazy. Evan is on the brink of crawling, he will maybe move a little but then stop. Almost ready to take off. Olivia will be the last to crawl. She would rather summon people to her to get what she wants. What else for a princess!!! She will however probably be the first to talk. She is really vocal and is making sounds that make sense......like DA DA :) It is not gibberish. Evan is making sounds but Ethan would rather squeal and scream.
We are starting the planning phases of the big 1st birthday bash. Not sure of the venue. Everyone be looking for your invitations in the next couple of months. Something to look forward to.

Loss of a good one.......................
Everyone is probably wondering where we have been and why we haven't had any updates. It is with a heavy heart that I must tell you we lost a great man last weekend. Paul (Nicole's grandfather) passed away last Saturday at 6:25 pm. About four weeks ago he suffered a stroke and was unable to recover from it. He was able to spend the last several days of his life at home surrounded by family. We were lucky enough to take the triplets over to see him the Friday before his stroke. The visit was different, even though I didn't realize it until after. Paul sat and watched the babies on the floor as if he would never see them again. Even when we said our goodbye's it was somewhat different. We didn't realize it was going to be the last time that we would see him before the stroke. How precious are the moments we spend together. Paul was a good man that taught me many lessons. The most important lesson being, "Plant a tree for tomorrow". Here is our tribute to Paul's time with the babies:
